OVERVIEW

MWSC’s U10/U12 Alpine Program helps young racers build strong skiing fundamentals, gain confidence, and enjoy being part of a team. Through fun, purposeful training, athletes develop balance, coordination, ski control, and an introduction to race tactics. Coaches create an encouraging environment that challenges each skier and supports their individual progress. As athletes develop, they learn to apply their skills in training and competition, building a foundation for the next stage of ski racing. Traveling to races introduces them to new mountains, friendships, and the responsibilities of being a teammate. Along the way, MWSC encourages independence and sportsmanship while nurturing a lasting love of skiing.

Racers in the U10-U12 categories are expected to take part in at least one North Series qualifier. It is mandatory for all Alpine Racers to obtain a 2026-2027 U.S. Ski & Snowboard alpine competitor license.
