OVERVIEW

MWSC’s Freeride/Freestyle Comp Team helps skiers ages 10–17 develop the skills and confidence to compete in big mountain, slopestyle, and park events. From steep terrain and powder to trees and terrain parks, athletes learn to approach the mountain with creativity, discipline, and sound judgment.

Coaching focuses on line choice, balance, style, air skills, and fluidity, helping athletes build their own approach to skiing and apply it in competition.

The team trains on weekends at Tamarack Resort and Brundage Mountain, with Wednesday and Friday sessions at Little Ski Hill. Athletes are expected to travel to other ski areas for training and USASA and IFSA competitions.
