The snow is currently hitting the ground in McCall and staying there for now! it is making those butterflies flutter around in my stomach with anticipation and excitement for what is to come this Ski Season and what it means to be a part of the McCall Winter Sports Club.

Dryland training is making us better prepared physically and mentally and helping us instill the Core Values of the MWSC. For those of you who are unable to attend Dryland training here are a list of our Core Values, you should be starting to think about how you will embrace them this season as we countdown the days til we will be sliding on snow.

Core Values:

Fun: We must all remember first and foremost that skiing is fun!

Citizenship: Involves us working together to make positive differences to the Club and our community.

Sportsmanship: Displaying fair and generous behavior  and treatment of others and self, especially in competition.

Fitness: We all strive towards optimal performance, endurance, strength and resilience both physically and mentally.

Community: We work towards creating a strong Club Community and also support our local communities through our service.

Teamwork: Helping each other achieve our goals is an integral part of teamwork within the Club.

Ethics: Ethics have influence over the decisions we make and the actions we take. Our contributions to the common good, no matter how big or how small, can have a lasting impact.

Reflect on what these Core Values mean to you, how they will impact your season and beyond!

Happy snowy days!
