As we start the 23/24 season with Dryland Training and a number of MWSC spotlight events on the calendar this is a fantastic time to think about getting our Volunteer Hours scheduled.

The requirement is for each family to commit to 20 hours per Family for the season.

McCall Winter Sports Club relies on volunteers in order to fundraise, promote MWSC, and produce events on and off the snow; including the 4x4 Brew Pairing DinnerBackcountry Film Festivalhome races & competitions

MWSC’s race and competition schedule is busy this season. By hosting sanctioned qualifiers at our home ski areas MWSC athletes and families don’t have to travel as far.

By hosting “friendly” (non-sanctioned) events, more local athletes and community members are able to participate.

Some upcoming events that need Volunteers are:

  • Little Ski Hill Ski Swap @ Payette Lakes Middle School
  • Brundage Pray for Snow Party @ Ponderosa Center
  • Matchstick Productions Movie Night @ LSH
  • Matchstick Productions Movie Night @ Tamarack

You can assign yourself to volunteer at the Event via the Stack Team App. Under Events within the App go to the upcoming Event, click on Duty Roster and assign yourself to a Duty. The number in parenthesis indicates the credit hours received.

The MWSC Staff enjoy meeting parents and athletes prior to being on the snow and encourage everyone to get involved to help create and maintain the special Club Culture that MWSC has.

Thank you for supporting McCall Winter Sports Club with your time. We hope you'll find value and feel good about your volunteerism.
