Can parents shadow or accompany teams while training?
Parent sweep volunteers are helpful for the U8 Mighty Mite groups. And although there may be one-off situations where parents are asked to join older groups, generally parents do not accompany teams while training. This makes for a better coaching and learning experience - amongst teammates.

What happens if my child gets separated from their team?
Lost or separated athletes should ski to the bottom of the chair lift and wait for their team. If a MWSC parent sees a separated child, please use STACK Team App CHAT to let the coach know and make a plan for rejoining the team.

What happens if my child gets hurt or injured during training?
Ski Patrol will be contacted first. Then, coaches will provide assistance within the scope of medical training completed and required by the job. Parent will be notified by phone.

What is the best way to connect with my child's coach?
STACK Team App's CHAT is the best way to send a message to coach. Please be mindful of the coaches' time constraints on the snow.
If there is a larger issue that needs to be discussed, we ask that a meeting with Coach and/or Director be arranged in advance.

Do I have to volunteer?
Yes, each family is asked to fulfill a minimum of 20 volunteer hours.  There are many different ways and opportunities for parents AND athletes to volunteer.  It is encouraged that athletes do their part to give back to the community, help with fundraisers, and take responsibility as a teammate.
